- [+]What is audiophile sound recording?
- Clean, clear real sound. Not exagerated or deficient. Real voices, guitars, orchestras. After it's recorded clean, it can be modified any way you want.
- [+]How much will making a recording cost?
- This question is impossible to answer without knowing some specifics. For example, how many songs? How complex are the arrangements? How many musicians? And there will be expenses above and beyond those that Schu-Man Studios will charge. The best way to begin answering the question is to contact us.
- [+]How can the recording cost be kept down?
-
A very good question. One of the things to do is review and print a copy of the Recording Checklist we've adapted from Are You Ready to Record? by our friends at Splatcat Records in Culver, Indiana. It's in PDF format, so you'll need to download the Adobe Reader if you haven't done so already.
The old adage, "time is money" is true. Anything you can do to save studio time will reduce your recording costs.
