About Schu-Man Studios
David G. Bragman has been passionate about audiophile sound his whole life. He founded Schu-Man Studios in 1977 because growing up listening to the best sound possible, becoming a professional musician and playing the best sound possible, he then wanted to record the best sound possible.
David began acquiring his recording skills by training with many engineers and producers. He worked at Lakeside Studios in Chicago, Jor-Dan Studios in Wheaton, and at Nightingale-Conant Corporation in Niles. His job titles included engineer, producer, and editor, and he produced, recorded, and mixed best-selling programs with the top names in audio publishing.
Mr. Bragman, a professional musician since 1974, plays bluegrass, Irish music, and American folk music. He is a music teacher, a banjo and guitar player, and a singer. David performs with many bands, including the Dimestore String Band, Brushfire, and David and Marian. He has sung with choruses, toured the United States and Europe, and made countless recordings as a player, singer, engineer, and producer.
